ORDERS, SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

HOW DO I ORDER?

Browse our products, select what you like, select size and quantity and click “add to cart button”. Review your items in the cart and click “check out”. Add shipping and payment details to complete the order. Following your order, you will receive an order confirmation email.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENTS ARE ACCEPTED?

We accept payments from all kinds of credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, and American Express). We also offer the following express checkout options: PayPal, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay, Shop Pay, Google Pay, and Klarna.

HOW DO I FOLLOW MY ORDER?

After your order is processed and shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with the tracking number so you can follow your it.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?

After your order is processed and shipped, the normal delivery time is 2 to 5 business days for Europe, and 5 to 10 business days for the rest of the world.

HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?

All orders are shipped from our warehouse in Portugal. Shipping costs vary according to your address. Europe: Free, Rest of the world: €25.

DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR ANY ADDITIONAL DUTY CHARGES?

If you leave outside of the European Union, your country’s customs office may impose additional charges on your order upon arrival such as import fees, declaration fees, import duties(tariffs), and/or taxes. In some countries, orders below a certain value are not subject to duties. All the fees required for customs clearance are your responsibility. Occasionally, customs agents may delay the delivery of packages at their discretion. For more information on customs, duties, taxes, and other import charges, please look online or contact your local customs office.

WHAT IF I REFUSE TO COLLECT MY ORDER FROM THE CUSTOMS OFFICE?

If you refuse your order, you will still be responsible for all shipping, duties, and taxes costs.

RETURNS, EXCHANGES & REFUNDS

WHAT IS RESPONSIBLE SHOPPING?

We encourage you to shop responsibly, to read our size guide carefully, and to consider the environmental impact when purchasing and returning items - the less unnecessary shipping, the better.

HOW DO I RETURN AN ITEM?

We accept returns within 14 days from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts will not be eligible for return. Custom-made or personalized items are non-returnable. To initiate a return, reply to your order confirmation email to request which products you would like to return and if you wish an exchange or a refund.

HOW DO I EXCHANGE AN ITEM?

Follow the instructions above on how to return an item. After receiving your exchange request email, we will email you a prepaid return shipping label (only for your first exchange). Print the prepaid return shipping label. Send all items back to us reusing the same shoe box and with the label provided. We will do our best to accommodate your exchange request, subject to product availability. If the desired item is not available, we will issue a refund. Customers are responsible for any customs fees, taxes, or duties associated with returning items for exchange.

HOW DO I GET A REFUND?

Follow the instructions above on how to return an item. After receiving your refund request email, we will reply you with the respective instructions. When returning an item to be refunded, you are responsible for sending it back to us in your most convenient manner. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund of the value of the product purchased (without the initial shipping fees we were charged and any eventual custom fees, taxes or duties) will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of days, depending on your payment provider's policies.

HOW DO I GET MY REFUND IF MY CREDIT CARD HAS EXPIRED AFTER THE PURCHASE?

We are only authorized to issue the refund on the original payment method used to make the purchase. If the credit card used has expired or has been blocked, but you have a new card issued by the same financial institution, the refund will arrive on your new credit card account, even though the number is different. Otherwise, contact the bank directly to verify the details of the pending payment.

FITTING & CARE

HOW DO LATE FOR DINNER SHOES FIT?

Our shoes are available in EU sizes and fit true to EU sizes except where stated in the respective product page. They will also slightly stretch with wear and will conform to the shape of your feet.

HOW DO I CLEAN MY LATE FOR DINNER SHOES?

Leather Shoes: Wash your shoes by hand using a cloth dampened with cold water rubbing the soiled areas gently. To dry your shoes, lay out in the air, at room temperature, in the shade, out of direct sunlight. Keep away from heat sources like heaters, hairdryers or fireplaces. Do not use the washer or dryer.

REPAIRS, REUSE AND RECYCLING

CAN LATE FOR DINNER SHOES BE REPAIRED?

We believe in slow fashion and therefore make our shoes to last but, eventually, they will come close to an end. If you are having problems parting away from your shoes and believe they can be repaired or any of its components replaced, please write us an email to info@latefordinner.pt explaining it and we will let you know how to proceed.

HOW DO I REUSE OR RECYCLE THE PACKAGING?

You can keep your Late For Dinner shoe box to store your shoes or anything else. You can also reuse the box to return an item if needed.
All our packaging is recyclable so, if you do not wish to keep it, simply dispose of it in a paper recycling bin.
